The Samsung SL102 Digital Camera is an ideal camera for the entry level shooter with its ease of use and compact size. It incorporates a quality Samsung lens with a 3x optical zoom, as well as Digital Image Stabilization to help reduce blurry images.

For simple shooting, the camera does most of the work for you thanks to a host of advanced automatic features, including Samsung's Face Detection and Beauty Shot modes. The camera can also record high-quality video clips at VGA resolution with a frame rate of 30fps, and allows users to pause and then resume recording video without having to save the clips as individual files. Photos and videos can then be viewed on the cameras 2.5 inch LCD screen.

"This camera is a great investment. I was so used to using my camera phone to get snapshots and video, I had no idea that it could get better than that. This camera is great for the price. The only thing I didn't like about it was that when you use the movie feature, the sound cuts off when you try to zoom in or out..and the fact that it doesn't play sound until you plug it into the computer. But other than that stuff, it's awesome. "
